It has now been easy, enjoyable and more knowledge profitable to surf the internet for scientific material, published work and commentaries. The wealth of information so gathered is enormous.

Networking is essentially about teaching, making contacts with people, companies, institutions and laboratories, while in many cases gathering information, exploiting resources and acquiring ideas from others. Many colleges, institutes, scientific societies have had websites of their own, with the view of  extending relations with similar firms as well as with individuals and other associates. These also advocate for opportunities of jobs to appropriate caliber personnel. It also announce for conferences of media worldwide to enthusiasts.

The internet search engines (Google, Yahoo and the like) have embraced the methodology of up-to-date submitted articles, findings and  cites from the ever-flowing publications forwarded ever minute to the media. They have been as an on-line every time library, from which everyone can gather data and information leading to an easy and rapid access to knowledge.

True network relationships is based on the reciprocity principle, where one receives in turn for a favor,  such as sending a journal article for someone who may likely reciprocate in turn in a medium  of common interest.

Network texting is becoming very common, as if it were holding a phone conversation with the other side. This inevitably reveals ones’ character and competence; in fact one can learn more from mutual personalities. However, having said that, and rather rarely, awkward situations can arise and may end up in disastrous consequences.

The best strategy is to listen, read, acknowledge and comprehend; ask and answer with good diligence and good manners, which in the final event may avail a good and everlasting relationship. This will add to the diversity of knowledge and also result in actual visitations and meetings either in conferences meetings or elsewhere.

Programmed computer simulations can create a 3D picture of objects, people and places. These images are sent thorough the internet as videos or films for entertainment, tracking or recognition of a certain episode or act, which in many circumstances have helped in solving a certain problem. Nowadays, a project called teleportation project is in progress. Scientists are trying to build an intelligent material that can replicate a physical three-dimensional facsimile of persons or other living beings from a stream of video images. These are projected across the globe through the internet connection as replicas of almost anything in the cyber world; the possibilities are endless.

 Companies’ sales are heralded for, and boosted through networks; in fact many orders for equipments, chemicals and other provisions are addressed effectively through networking.

In a word, networking can be considered as an activity that is critical to the development of firms, institutions, companies and more so to ones knowledge, career and wisdom.
